Ballad

As Silent as the sandy sea,

Upon me when a numbness sounds,

You walk across the dunes to me,

And Into me your voice resounds.

My numbing bones become a string,

Your fingers soft begin to play,

The Music sweet to which I sing,

And say that which I long to say.

You reach into my soul and take ,

Into your hand the sands of pain

“The wind will blow the grains away,

And you and I will watch them sway.”
